We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PCB Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the hardware development process, from schematic design to PCB layout. Your primary responsibilities will include creating accurate schematic diagrams, designing PCB layouts using Cadence Allegro 17.2, and ensuring the manufacturability and assembly efficiency of our electronic products.
- Collaborate with Hardware and firmware engineers to create schematic diagrams based on project requirements.
- Ensure accurate representation of electronic components and connections.
- Use PCB design software (Cadence Allegro 17.2) to create physical layouts of PCBs.
- Place components, connectors, and traces while considering signal integrity and thermal.
- Optimize board layouts for manufacturability and assembly.
- Candidate should have experience in the full life cycle of PCB Design Symbol creation, Draw Schematic, Footprint Creation, Assign Footprint for Symbol, Generation of the Bill of Material(BOM), Board Outline Creation as per DXF or Drawing, Component Placement, Constraint Setting, Routing, DRC Check, Length Matching, Silk-Screen Arrangement, Assembly Drawing Creation, XY DATA Generation, Fabrication Gerber Generation Verification Of Gerber.
- Creating comprehensive documentation, including design files, bill of materials (BOM), and assembly instructions, and Keeping records of design changes and notes for manufacturing and assembly teams.
Required Skill Sets:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field (preferred).
- Proficiency in PCB design software (Cadence Allegro 17.2).
- Strong understanding of PCB layout best practices.
- Knowledge of signal integrity, thermal management, and design for manufacturability.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to work with precision.
