Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled automation QA Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and automation, as well as experience in using automation tools and frameworks. The automation tester will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests, as well as collaborating with the development and testing teams to identify and resolve defects. The automation tester will also be responsible for creating and maintaining test automation frameworks and test cases. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape our automation testing strategies, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of software applications.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using testing frameworks and tools
- Design, develop and execute manual test cases and test plans based on project requirements and design documentation
- Collaborate with the development and testing teams to ensure high-quality software
- Identify and report defects using the issue tracking system, and work with the development team to resolve them
- Design and maintain test automation frameworks and test cases
- Conduct code reviews and ensure that automation scripts are optimized and maintainable
- Continuously improve the automation process and ensure that testing best practices are followed
- Report on test progress and quality metrics to the project team and stakeholders
Required Skill Sets:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in software (Web & Mobile application) testing, with a focus on automation
- Experience with automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium
- Understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with testing Web and mobile applications and web services
Experience with test management tools, such as Redmine or JIRA
ISTQB or other relevant certifications
